Position: Growth Manager / Client Partner
Location: San Jose, CA
Description:
- Engage with data and AI leaders, business unit heads, and platform teams across tech companies to uncover new opportunities
- Act as a strategic connector, leveraging our existing portfolio (especially within top-tier tech clients) to build trust and credibility with adjacent teams
- Translate CTech’s offerings and impact into tailored narratives aligned to each client’s context
- Support GTM efforts by shaping customized proposals, pitch materials, and solution overviews in collaboration with solution architects
- Lead early-stage discovery conversations, contribute to proposal writing, and support commercial negotiation cycles
- Maintain a tight pulse on industry trends, whitespace signals, and data/AI priorities across prospective clients
- Travel within the Bay Area and occasionally nationwide to meet clients, attend events, and deepen relationships
Skills:
- 12–15 years of experience in analytics, AI, or data-related fields, with at least 2–3 years in a client-facing strategic role (e.g., presales, solutioning, consulting, partnerships, or BD)
- Deep appreciation for analytics platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML models, and how organizations adopt them
- Proven ability to contextualize past work into compelling growth conversations — not just pitching services but offering insight.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical teams and marketing to tailor messaging and sales enablement content.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — written and verbal — with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to navigate ambiguity with structure.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with platforms such as Looker, BigQuery, dbt, Snowflake, or GCP
- Exposure to client demos, sandbox environments, or lightweight product walkthroughs
- Prior experience working within or selling into large tech ecosystems
