Well established, large and growing multibillion dollar manufacturing company has an outstanding opportunity available for a Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for coordinating quality assurance activities that include providing quality related support to the operations teams, customer communications related to quality issues, leading 8D teams through problem solving and corrective action processes. What You Will Do: • Coordinate with customers and manage your assigned customer deck. • Support program launch and APQP process. • Maintain control system documents (i.e., control plans). • Lead corrective action efforts for customers, suppliers, and internally identified quality complaints. • Standardize work instructions, FMEA’s, control systems and traceability systems to improve manufacturing operations. • Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies and defects. • Develop and implement quality changes and process improvements. What You Need to Be Successful: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree. • 3+ years of Quality Engineering. • Plastic molding, assembly and automotive experience a plus. • Proficiency in verbal and written communication required. • Proficiency in problem solving required. • Proficiency in MS Office required.
