Industrial Engineer
Job Description & Skill Requirement
•Analyzes and designs processes and operations to improve productivity and efficiencies in plant and production facilities.
•Develop and recommend layout proposals; establishes methods for maximum utilization of space and resources in a production environment.
•Analyze facility capacity, develop and capacity improvement plans.
•Monitor operations performance with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
•Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
•May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
•Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
•Conducts time measurement analysis, develop and implement most effective work sequence, standardized work (Process Capacity, Std Wrk Combination Table, Operator Balance Chart, Std Wrk Layout) for manufacturing processes.
•On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
•May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
•Partner with other functions for problem solving using DMAIC approach.

Time studies, Production line balancing, Capacity modeling, financial analysis, Lean six sigma and Kaizen
The expected salary range for this position is between $63,000 to $1,20,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
