Process Engineer
Growing plastics company with multiple manufacturing locations has an outstanding opportunity available in the Milwaukee area for a Process Leader. The Plastics Process Leader provides process engineering, troubleshooting, process control, and related support to the Plastics molding operation to ensure the production of cost efficient, quality products, on time to customers. The Plastics Molding Process Leader serves as a Subject Matter Expert team member supporting daily production demands, process improvement, cost saving, new equipment acquisition, member training programs, but also a critical team member of the new product development processes to ensure a robust process is developed for Plastics Molding manufacturing. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or applicable experience preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a Plastic Blow Molding or Injection Molding manufacturing operation preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Experience with Maintenance programs & personnel, including PMs (Preventive & Predictive), spare parts management, and vendor managed inventory (VMI).
Understanding of Quality Control measures, and how they impact the production operation.
Demonstrated ability of risk assessment & decision-making to identify non-conformance issues and introduce acceptable countermeasures.
Ability to work both independently and in an active team driven atmosphere, ensuring that time, projects, and deadline commitments are met.
