A global consumer device company is looking for Fitness Trainers or Athletes to test wearable devices in Cupertino, CA.
Responsibilities

  • You will test prototype and existing devices.
  • You will meet with a team of fitness experts and engineers at a local location to preform multiple fitness tests such as walks, runs, cycles and swim activities
  • You will participate to identify and report any device issues that may occur while running tests
  • You will work typically 3 days per week (24 hours) and up to 5 days a week (40 hours)

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the Fitness Industry as a fitness trainer
  • Perform fitness intensive tasks such as walk, hike, run, cycle, swimming activities on a daily basis
  • Should be physically fit for walk, hike and run activities 4-6 miles a day
  • Able to operate iOS and Android products, read test documentations and be able to perform tasks
  • Must be able to perform physical fitness tests such as walks, runs up to six miles daily
  • Must be able to travel with team for up to 1 week (occasionally)
  • Great communication skills
  • Must have at least one of the following certifications: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American Council on Exercise (ACE) or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following: Kinesiology, Exercise physiology, Exercise Science or related field

Preferred qualifications

  • Athletes preferred
  • Experience postprocessing logs
  • Prepare test devices for Field testing which includes physical setup, software installs, and upkeep
  • A business owner with a website

Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 4 months
Pay Range: $30-35/hr (DOE)
