Overview

The Manager, Product Engineering is responsible for leading the development of new and existing software products by managing a high-performing engineering team and establishing scalable development processes. This role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration across departments, and a focus on quality, maintainability, and innovation.

Position

Leadership role overseeing software engineering functions, responsible for end-to-end delivery, mentoring, architectural review, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software engineers in development, testing, and product delivery.
  • Mentor and retain top engineering talent.
  • Collaborate with Product Strategy, Cloud Architecture, and Hosting Operations teams.
  • Provide business and technical guidance.
  • Enhance and streamline the SDLC.
  • Design robust technical solutions based on product requirements.
  • Ensure architectural soundness and maintainability.
  • Define/enforce quality and documentation standards.
  • Represent development in audits and ensure compliance.
  • Act as the escalation point for technical delivery issues.

Education

Requirement Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years in software development with Microsoft technologies.
  • 4+ years as an engineering manager.
  • 2+ years with cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
  • Experience in enterprise-grade software delivery.

Technical Skills

  • Strong C#.NET expertise
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Agile methodologies
  • Solid design pattern and software architecture knowledge

Soft Skills

  • Leadership and team management
  • Decision-making and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and time management

Additional Information

  • Contract position starting May 1st, 2025
  • Remote flexibility available
  • Reports to the Technology Organization management team
