Description
Coordinate and prioritize all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, communication, execution and completion.
o Create and maintain Feature level project plan that identifies the activities required to complete the project along with activity dependencies and owners.
o Partners with external implementors, to define dependencies and verify their progress to ensure the success for the project
o Revise project plan as needed to maintain alignment with cross-impacted projects and business strategy.
o Leverage JIRA tasks / details to track work and monitor progress.
o Ensure complete understanding of business needs and processes.
Monitors and controls project scope, schedule, milestones, budget, and risk.
o Responsible for internal and external resource management, budgeting and cost containment.
o Develop and control timelines, including regularly assessing and mitigating risks throughout the project by removing blockers and escalating issues
o Collaborate across the teams to confirm resource availability, and maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the program
Provide transparent communication to leadership on status, issues, risks, and required decisions across the program
o Lead project team meetings and clearly convey project goals and requirements.
o Communicate with stakeholders to bridge the "technology gap" by using terms and concepts familiar to stakeholders.
o Facilitate team meetings to achieve an expected outcome and enable decision-making. This includes meeting preparation, capturing actions from meetings, and facilitating group activities (e.g., brainstorming, whiteboarding).
o Define, communicate, and manage dependencies across projects
Support clients Agile Transformation by understanding the Ways of Working and Agile Team roles and responsibilities
o Oversee delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope
Qualifications:
B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area preferred
Minimum of 8+ years' experience in technical project mgmt or consulting; retail experience a must, specifically in Supply Chain or Product Facing Systems (Sourcing, Planning, Inventory, Pricing, Merchandising)
Prior experience in a technical role (development, integrations, infrastructure, or operations).
Strong experience with JIRA
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
Strong business, leadership, planning and organizational skills
Proven experience in agile project management with multiple workstreams
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
Ability to work and deliver in a fast paced, changing environment with a presence to adjust to situations that could involve conflicting goals
Ability to collaborate and effectively manage a dispersed team and prioritize work
Display a leadership approach of Show Up, Team Up and Build Up to collaboratively drive work forward
Values relationship building, and employs a collaborative approach
