The CIO Case Manager is a position within the Data Transmission Registration | Permit to Send team supporting the Global Technology Chief Information Officers. This team oversees the entire approval process for the 'incoming & outgoing' data requests for the Front-Line Units who have a need to utilize a Vendor | Partner to outsource banking service(s). This is a FAST PACED environment and the position requires multi-tasking without losing effectiveness in day-to-day processing of cases. The average time frame of one case is 145 days and requires consistent follow-up to meet Service and Operating Level Agreements and ensure no loss to the bank.
Position Summary:
In this position, the CIO Case Manager will deal with many areas of the bank, such as, but not limited to the Front-Line Units, Global Information Security, Application Managers, Data Transmission Services, Privacy, Permissible Use, Data Approvers, Vendors, Global Cloud Governance, Sr. Leadership and more. This role will also, but not be limited to:
Performing QA | QC on all cases in their queue during each stage of the process
Perform review of technical Data Flow Diagrams to ensure correct assessments are ordered | processed
Manage portfolio during each stage (8+ stages with an average of 90 +/- cases)
Daily responsibilities include (subject to change as needed), but not limited to:
Work an average of 90 cases in an active and very demanding pipeline
Respond to phone, email, instant communicator during the workday in a timely manner
Able to train users on the DTR | PTS process and SOR (system of record)
Able to work with very little supervision
Able to quickly read and follow detailed processes, procedures, and technical data flow diagrams daily
Work with Front Line Units that are new to the process and be able to assist as needed during any stage of the process
Be able to work as needed and be punctual at all times
Able to quickly research issues in a complex bank technical environment and vendors environment
Have general knowledge of Information Security / Global Information Security Standards & Processes
Must have production experience
Required Skills:
2+ years of relevant experience in a high-level technical production environment
Analytical ability on both the process and data
Being able to remember, understand, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating processes and flows to help reduce all types of risk to the bank
Communicate in an enterprise-wide capacity via phone, email and in person (as needed) to educate, problem-solve, and influence adherence to enterprise policies to not only the Front-Line Units, but Control Functions and Sr. Management
Improve process to continually advance the value of the Governance program
Proficient | Advanced knowledge in MS Products such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint is a must
Critical thinker and process-oriented while having Intellectual curiosity
Keyboard accuracy a must
Specific Skills:
This specific Case Manager role will also assist supporting the team's technical needs (about 30% of the time) such as, but not limited to the following:
o Be able to design and regularly support the teams SharePoint, Front-Line Unit facing SharePoint, and Leadership SharePoint sites which requires the use of SharePoint Designer.
o Must have advanced Excel skills, such as but not limited to, macros, pivot tables, mail merge, formulas, etc.
o Have BI (Business Intelligence) to assist with Tableau to design and update information for team members and Sr. Leadership dashboards
o Have knowledge and be able to run scripts for Python, SQL, etc.
