Description:
Information Technology Security Architect to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of security systems and processes within our corporate and restaurant networks. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and protect and enhance our organization's security posture in collaboration with a team of talented IT professionals.

The position is direct placement with our client on full time salaried basis. Work is to be completed in in Prairie du Sac, WI with a hybrid schedule 3 days in office.

This role includes a generous incentive bonus based on business results and individual success. We also offer workplace flexibility including flexible work hours and a hybrid work model.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Rate: $130,000k - $150,000k/year

Responsibilities:
Security Architecture and Implementation:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security architecture for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security requirements and integrate them into the overall IT strategy.
  • Design and implement security controls specific to Microsoft tools and Azure, including Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 security features.
  • Develop secure configurations and policies for Azure resources, such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Coordinate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security considerations are integrated into all projects and initiatives.
  • Threat Detection and Incident Response:
  • Leverage Azure Sentinel for threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.
  • Oversee security operations and incident response processes.
  • Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct code reviews of applications to determine security flaws or other issues that would impact the confidentiality, integrity or availability of the system.

Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Implement and maintain risk management frameworks and processes.
  • Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and track remediation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PCI and data privacy.
  • Develop guidance and recommendations for franchisees on PCI standards and compliance.
  • Policy, Awareness, and Documentation:
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct security awareness training and promote a culture of security within the organization.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation of systems and architectures.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through appropriate training courses, selected reading, conferences and involvement with professional organizations.


Experience Requirements:
Requirements:
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft tools and Azure platforms.
  • Experience using security architecture methodologies and vulnerability management tools.
  • Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure.
  • Experience designing IAM technologies and services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Azure, IAM).
  • Strong working knowledge of IT service management.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to concentrate on a wide range of loosely defined complex situations, which require application of creativity and originality, with limited guidance and counsel.
  • High level of organizational and project management skills to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or related field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
