Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions within Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), focusing on operational data stores (ODS), data warehouse environments, and large-scale automated claims processing systems
- Create and manage automated data pipelines and ETL processes to support efficient, secure data movement and integration across systems
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions using modern programming languages and development frameworks
- Develop and deploy code using CI/CD practices, ensuring compliance with security, data governance, and change management processes as defined by the PMO
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for MMIS data environments, ensuring high availability and accuracy of mission-critical healthcare data
Qualifications:
- Must have at least two (2) years experience in a large automated system experience relevant to the position
- Experience with fiscal agent or MMIS operations in large-scale automated claims processing systems or other comparable systems is preferred
- Must be proficient with software, programming languages, data warehouse architecture techniques, and familiarity with database platforms
- Must have at minimum five (5) years experience as a developer with operational data stores (ODS) and Data Warehouse environments
- Applicable certifications are preferred
- Additional desired skills/roles include Architecture, development, business analysis, requirements gathering, create automated data pipelines, create data warehouse artifacts, create and manage deployments CI/CD, ensure security and data governance, daily operations and support, provide input to PMO Change Management Team
