Network Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Analyst with a strong focus on firewall technologies to join our IT security team. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid networking foundation and hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower Next-Generation Firewalls. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable, and high-performing network environments across enterprise infrastructures. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire position based in Lakewood, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Must be able to participate in after-hours work as required for on-call and system implementations
• Must have experience in administering enterprise-level next-generation Firepower firewall technology with a medium to large organization knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Experience with VPN configuration and support.
• Familiarity with WLAN technologies and optimization techniques.
• Basic understanding of voice technologies (VoIP, SIP, voice gateways) and contact center infrastructure.
• Administer and support enterprise-level firewall and intrusion prevention systems, with a specialization in Cisco ASA and Firepower NGFW.
• Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of VPNs, including third-party integrations.
• Perform regular audits and optimizations of firewall configurations across data center, campus, wireless, and WAN environments.
• Physical Requirement: Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
