Job Summary:

• We are seeking a seasoned Data Strategy and Architect to lead our enterprise data architecture and drive strategic initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making.
• This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and visionary leadership to align data initiatives with organizational goals and ensure the scalability, security, and governance of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a holistic data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand data needs and translate them into strategic initiatives.
• Define data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Design and maintain the enterprise data architecture including data models, metadata, master data, and data integration frameworks.
• Define the architecture for data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data cataloging systems.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and integrity of data architecture.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• Guide cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Serve as a thought leader in data modernization efforts and emerging technologies (AI/ML, big data, real-time analytics).
• Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to support the data ecosystem.
• Provide mentorship and establish architecture best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data strategy roles.
• Assisted with migration of project documentation from Confluence to SharePoint
• Strong experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL, data governance, and data security.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and distributed systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Created project management infrastructure in Confluence & Jira, defined epics and tasks, gathered requirements from internal customers, managed developer activities and deliverables.
• Created high level architecture proposal of future-state Data Lake House with proposed tech stack alternatives that focused on Data Bricks, Snowflake, Kafka ingestion via Stream Kap, and S3 data lake structures
