Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Define and implement the go-to-market strategy, pipeline generation, and execution plans to meet or exceed sales targets
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability
- Revenue Growth: Drive enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, focusing on finance, fintech, SaaS, and security sectors
- Forecasting & Metrics: Own sales forecasting, reporting, and KPIs to support executive-level decision-making
- Customer Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key enterprise customers and stakeholders to ensure long-term success and retention
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on customer needs and drive continuous value
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to adapt and inform sales strategies
- 10+ years of B2B software sales experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in cybersecurity sales (email security solutions - strong advantage)
- Prior experience at an early-stage or hypergrowth startup
- Familiarity with sales tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and similar platforms
- Experience selling into enterprise accounts and managing long, complex sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams
- Strong network within enterprise organizations, preferably across the East Coast
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as required
