This role will be a key part of that journey—working hand-in-hand with the community to create deep, meaningful connections and ensure the club becomes an integral part of Mansfield’s culture and identity.

About North Texas Soccer Club:

North Texas SC is the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, playing a crucial role in the player development pathway while serving as a community-focused brand rooted in North Texas. Based in Mansfield, one of the fastest-growing areas in the country, the club is dedicated to delivering an exceptional matchday experience and fostering strong partnerships with local and regional organizations. North Texas SC will move into a brand-new, 7,500-seat stadium in Spring 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for professional soccer in the region.

Position Summary:

The Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for identifying new sponsorship opportunities, managing existing partner relationships, and delivering high-quality activation programs that ensure sponsor satisfaction and retention. This is a hands-on, front-facing role ideal for a strategic thinker who can blend sales acumen with creative execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Relations & Engagement:

  • Develop and manage the North Texas SC Marketing initiatives, including identifying partners, executing collaborative projects, and tracking impact.
  • Cultivate meaningful partnerships with nonprofits, youth organizations, schools, and military bases, particularly around DFW.
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship and Ticketing teams to activate community-based group sales, fundraising nights, and branded outreach campaigns.
  • Plan and execute community events and appearances involving players, coaches, and club representatives, ensuring strong alignment with brand values and media strategy.
  • Oversee donation request processing, fulfillment, and reporting.
  • Lead signature programs and develop new branded initiatives that target underrepresented communities, youth development, and military outreach.
  • Represent MLS NEXT Pro community initiatives and maintain alignment with league standards.
  • Be in the community attending chamber events and local community events to bring brand awareness of NTSC.

Marketing & Fan Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on developing localized campaigns that highlight community impact and drive brand engagement.
  • Support content creation by gathering stories, photos, and testimonials from community events to be used in newsletters, social media, website features, and press releases.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans that position North Texas SC as a community leader and first-choice entertainment option in the region.
  • Work with internal teams to ideate and activate themed nights, awareness campaigns, and special promotions that celebrate culture, service, and inclusion.
  • Develop grassroots marketing strategies to reach new fan segments and build deeper community ties in Mansfield and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (sports industry preferred).
  • Proven track record of securing and growing sponsorship revenue.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be based in DFW area or surrounding area.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed or assigned, contributing to a collaborative and growing team environment. This is not a remote or work-from-home position.
