Evergreen Project Overview: We are seeking a Program Manager to join our Evergreen team within the Applied Engineering Services practice. This role will ensure grid reliability and compliance by managing our client's interconnection projects in the ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) area. Our client aims to reduce their backlog, expedite the study process, and facilitate faster plant connections. These studies involve larger connections requiring a Full Interconnection Study (FIS) for projects of 10MW or higher, governed by ERCOT Interconnection Study criteria. Applicants typically include developers of solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), industrial loads, wind farms, and other projects.
Fully onsite in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: 40-50/h
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ Project management experience
- Presentation skills
- Management experience
- Experience managing a program
- Great communication skills as you will be interfacing with customers
- Go getter personality
- Technologically savvy
Plusses:
- Experience with renewable energy resources
- Generation and Transmission experience
- Utility industry experience
- Co-location experience
- RTO experience
Day to Day: The Program Manager lead will lead and manage the evergreen team that is made up of 2 leads and 4 project engineers.
Their duties will include
- Primary Source of coordination with client stakeholders
- Lead the team
- Process improvement
- Training
- Run twice a week meeting on the new studies
- Weekly meeting with stakeholders to give updates
- Ensure the kickoff milestones for each project are complete per procedure
- Ensure coordination of team members and study contractors are lively
- Escalate issues as appropriate
