You'll also manage building operations, maintenance, and vendors. Additionally, you'll work with staff and planning teams in support of client meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:
Building Operations & Maintenance:
- Oversee and manage building maintenance, repairs, and renovations
- Manage and monitor building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), equipment, and furnishings
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and functional office
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors for cleaning, maintenance, security, and other services
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely and effective service delivery
- Manage small to medium-sized facility projects from planning to execution
- Prepare project budgets and track expenses
- Respond to employee and client requests for building-related issues
- Provide guidance and support to employees on building operations and safety procedures
- Support visiting guests by creating a positive experience in line with our culture
- Maintain tidiness in the kitchen, conference rooms, public areas, etc
- Respond to main phone number calls and route to the appropriate person
- Handle shipping and receiving as needed
- Prepare and submit expense reports for leadership team members
- Order and track inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available for office locations
- Manage the building access system, Sonitrol. Responsible for badging and ensuring compliance with ISO/TISAX
- Assist in developing and managing the building operations budget
- Track expenses and identify areas for cost savings
- Infrequent night/weekend work depending on event schedule
- Ability to work onsite in the Richmond office with some hybrid flexibility
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in facilities, operations, or engineering)
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, facilities management, or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to rapidly changing client needs
- Service-oriented with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and moving furniture as needed
