responsibilities:


  • Expert System Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain a variety of access control systems and video surveillance systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
  • Proactive Maintenance & Support: Conduct routine maintenance, system upgrades, and thorough testing to ensure the continuous reliability of security systems.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to both hardware and software components of video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Technical Documentation & Interpretation: Accurately interpret construction drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to facilitate efficient installations and service. Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
  • Client Training & Education: Provide comprehensive training to clients on the effective use of their installed security systems and associated software.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

qualifications:


  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Solid understanding of access control hardware (card readers, REX devices, locks, etc.) and software.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring various video surveillance components (cameras, servers, VMS, NVRs).
  • Familiarity with low voltage electrical work and networking principles (IP-based systems).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant certifications are a plus.
