What You Will Do
This position is responsible for achieving sales volume, market share, and profit objectives for assigned national accounts through acceptable account management practices to include planning, coordinating, and executing company selling strategies. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the retail landscape to project business trends and maximize results for our Dermatology portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stake-holders at Kroger, Dollar General and Family Dollar.
- Lead successful negotiations with Retailer counterparts that ultimately deliver favorable results for our joint business. This will include formal “Joint Business Plan” (JBP) process with select accounts.
- Achieve sales objectives for Kroger, Dollar General and Family Dollar on L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty brand portfolio (CeraVe).
- Develop and execute collaborative business plans to achieve strategic sales, market share and profit targets for Kroger, Dollar General and Family Dollar.
- Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales Operations.
- Own the P&L for the assigned brands and accounts, ensuring profitability and achievement of Gross-to-Net goals.
- Deliver accurate and data-driven forecasting using trackable building blocks.
- Manage promotional planning, reporting, and funding for all activities at Kroger, Dollar General and Family Dollar.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ Sales experience in the consumer products industry, with a strong track record of success managing large, strategic accounts. Prior experience with Kroger or similar retailers is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage syndicated data, sell-through data, and shopper insights to create compelling selling stories. Prior experience working with Kroger 84-51/Market 6 data is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly driven and results-oriented individual with a passion for winning and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- In-depth knowledge of business objectives, category, retail dynamics, competitors, market trends and consumers
- Working knowledge of financial P&L management, forecasting, and trade funding.
- Ability to present to and interact with all levels of management effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid Driver's License and flexibility to travel ~25%, including overnight trips.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge of financial P&L management is highly desirable.
