DDI System Specialist
1.Implement DNS security measures such as DNSSEC and DDoS protection.
2. DHCP Administration:
Maintain DHCP servers and address pools.
Monitor and manage IP address assignments and lease durations.
Troubleshoot DHCP issues and optimize address allocation.
3. IPAM Operations:
Perform IP address planning, allocation, and tracking.
Manage IP address space and subnets using IPAM tools.
Ensure accurate IP address utilization and reporting.
4. Network Infrastructure Support:
Collaborate with network engineers and administrators to integrate DDI services with the network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to DNS and DHCP services.
Participate in network design and optimization projects.
5. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain up-to-date documentation of DDI configurations, changes, and procedures.
7. Incident Response and Resolution:
Respond to incidents related to DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services in a timely manner.
Diagnose and resolve service disruptions, outages, or performance issues.
Escalate critical issues to higher support levels as needed.
Preferred:
Experience with DDI platforms, Preferably BlueCat
Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management principles and protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting network issues.
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, encryption protocols, and security best practices.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
Certification in networking technologies (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
Experience with APIs, scripting, and Splunk data flows. Preferred Perl, python and JavaScript
