Job Title: BI Developer (Power BI & SAP HANA)
Overview: We are seeking a BI Developer with solid, hands-on experience in Power BI and SAP HANA to join our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Analytics team. In this role, you will report to the BI Manager and support transformation projects by designing, developing, and optimizing both front-end reporting solutions and back-end data models. Familiarity with sourcing, procure-to-pay (P2P), and inventory management processes is a plus. At least three to five years of experience in these tools is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Development:
o Create, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards (PBIX files).
o Utilize DAX for calculated columns, measures, and advanced analytical expressions.
o Leverage Power Query (M language) for data cleansing, transformation, and shaping.
o Implement row-level security, workspace management, and deployment pipelines where necessary.
SAP HANA Data Modeling:
o Develop and maintain HANA Calculation Views, including graphical and SQL script-based models.
o Build and optimize Analytical/Attribute Views to enable robust reporting and analytics.
o Create and manage SQL-based procedures, functions, and scripts within SAP HANA.
o Ensure efficient data modeling practices to support performance and scalability requirements.
Data Integration & Collaboration:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine business requirements.
o Integrate data from multiple sources and systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.
o Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to maintain system reliability.
o Work closely with BI Manager to align solutions with business and supply chain objectives.
Required qualifications:
Hands-on experience in Power BI development (including DAX, Power Query, and report publishing).
SAP HANA experience with a strong understanding of Calculation Views, SQL scripting, and data modeling best practices.
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Familiarity with sourcing, procure-to-pay (P2P), and inventory management processes.
Exposure to SAP modules (S/4HANA) to support end-to-end analytics use cases.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience working in an Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) environment or similar is a plus.
