Responsibilities:



Production Support for FileNet (All Products and Services):





Provide comprehensive production support for the entire FileNet ecosystem, including CEBIT, ECM Content Services, and Content Navigator.

Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and problems related to FileNet, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Implement and manage Splunk logging for effective monitoring and analysis of FileNet system behavior.

Configure and maintain Dynatrace URL monitors to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and availability issues within the FileNet environment.

Perform regular health checks and preventative maintenance on all FileNet components.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams (Linux, Middleware, Database, AD/LDAP, Storage) to diagnose and resolve cross-platform issues impacting FileNet.





FileNet Upgrade (Install and Upgrade FileNet Products):





Plan, execute, and manage FileNet upgrades for all relevant products and components.

Install and upgrade FileNet products in accordance with best practices and vendor recommendations.

Recompile, deploy, and perform thorough unit testing of custom components for CEBIT, ECM Content Services, and Content Navigator during upgrade processes.

Develop and maintain detailed upgrade plans, including rollback strategies.





FileNet Intakes / Development:





Act as a technical lead and actively participate on new requests and design sessions for FileNet implementations.

Lead new intake requests from business stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Design FileNet Objects and Clients, including CEBIT Design Documents and Configuration, and Connect Direct.

Design and configure Content Navigator, including Content Navigator Desktop Configuration, Search Templates, Plugins, and Application Roles.

Configure the environment (Object store, document class, properties) to meet the requirements of new requests.

Define and implement necessary ECM Content Services Required extensions to existing operations.

Define and manage Security/Global Groups within the FileNet environment.

Migrate the configurations from DEV to INT/PVS & PROD environments, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Actively participate in PVS testing to validate new configurations and deployments.

Coordinate Production Deployments of new configurations and upgrades, ensuring smooth and successful implementation.





Other Responsibilities:





Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationship between Client and IBM Service owner for FileNet.

Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Document all relevant procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Stay current with the latest FileNet technologies and industry best practices.

Participate in on-call rotation for critical production support.





Qualifications:





Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a FileNet Administrator with a strong focus on production support, FileNet upgrades, and development activities.

In-depth knowledge of the FileNet suite of products, including CEBIT, ECM Content Services, and Content Navigator.

Hands-on experience with installing and upgrading FileNet products.

Proficiency in configuring and managing Splunk logging and Dynatrace URL monitors.

Experience with designing FileNet Objects and Clients, including object stores, document classes, and properties.

Strong understanding of Content Navigator configuration, including desktop configuration, search templates, plugins, and application roles.

Experience with migrating configurations across different FileNet environments (DEV, INT/PVS, PROD).

Familiarity with security concepts and the management of Security/Global Groups in FileNet.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with Linux, Middleware, Database, AD/LDAP, and Storage teams.

Experience managing vendor relationships with software providers like IBM.
