We are looking for a Project Analyst to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team! This role is a great opportunity for a team player that is eager to learn, enjoys problem solving, has strong analytical skills, and can provide decision support to management and business partners.

We’re looking for you to do the following:

  1. Collaborate with business partners throughout the life cycle of assigned construction projects by providing insights into key performance indicators and emerging trends.
  2. Use a data driven approach to perform job cost and forecasting analysis for assigned construction projects.
  3. Engage with key stakeholders in the development, delivery, and continual refinement of analytical reports to allow for tracking of revenue and cost performance against budget, underbilling and overbilling, and cash flow.
  4. Provide oversight and guidance on the efficient execution of invoice and change order approvals, commitment tracking, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) tracking and compliance.
  5. Facilitate weekly financial analysis sessions with assigned project and program managers.
  6. Assist with total enterprise reporting, budgeting, and presentations, as needed.
  7. Educate and train business partners with the goal of continuously developing financial acumen across the project management team.
  8. Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives including developing data consolidation, visualization and reporting tools.

You Have:

  1. Minimum of three years of work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of construction industry and related software a plus.
  4. Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with varying levels of internal project management staff.
  5. A process improvement and growth mindset.
  6. Strong organization skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple concurrent assignments.
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required; proficiency in Power BI or other dashboarding tools a plus.
