Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer with experience in web application protection and secure infrastructure in the healthcare or eyecare domain. This role is critical in safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards such as HIPAA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF), SSL certificate management, and the ability to navigate change request systems like Kintana (Micro Focus PPM).

Key Responsibilities:

Imperva WAF Configuration & Management:Configure, tune, and manage Imperva WAF policies for healthcare/eyecare websites and web applications.

Perform regular rule updates and implement custom security policies as needed.

Monitor alerts and logs, investigate security events, and respond to incidents in real-time.

SSL Certificate Lifecycle Management: Procure and renew SSL/TLS certificates for internal and external domains.

Install and configure certificates across web servers and load balancers.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SSL-related issues to ensure secure and uninterrupted access.

IT Change Request Management (Kintana):

Initiate and manage IT Change Requests (ITCR) using Kintana/Micro Focus PPM.

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal change control processes.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams to coordinate deployments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering roles.

Proven experience with Imperva WAF or other major WAF technologies.

Solid understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, and certificate management.

Familiarity with Kintana/HP PPM or similar IT change management platforms.

Experience in a regulated environment, preferably healthcare or eyecare.

Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or other relevant compliance frameworks is a plus.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related security tools.

Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are desirable.
