The College of Engineering seeks a skilled and motivated professional to serve as the Student Wellness Manager. This position, funded through an NSF grant, plays a pivotal role in promoting student well-being, fostering a supportive culture, and integrating mental health resources into engineering education. We are looking for a highly organized leader with a background in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, who also has strong logistics and project management skills. While formal training as a counseling psychologist is not required, the role offers opportunities to gain experience in student support and engagement around well-being.

- Previous experience in student wellness, mental health advocacy, higher education, or program coordination.
- Experience developing and facilitating mental health, well-being, or resilience-based programs for students, faculty, or staff.
- Strong ability to communicate mental health and wellness topics in an engaging and accessible way to students, faculty, and staff.
- Experience managing outreach efforts, newsletters, websites, or other communication platforms related to student support services.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines, including engineering, counseling psychology, student success, and administrative units.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure, navigating complex and sensitive mental health conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to develop and track program goals, collect and analyze data, and implement assessment strategies for wellness initiatives.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with campus mental health services, student organizations, and external stakeholders.
