We are looking for an experienced Senior Hypervisor Engineer with strong expertise in kernel and firmware-level hypervisor coding and open-source software development. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, optimization, and integration of virtualization technologies within the client's ecosystem.
Key Skills & Requirements:
10+ years in open-source software development
Hands-on experience with open-source hypervisors at kernel and firmware level
Proficient in Java, Python, or Go
Infrastructure knowledge with software development capabilities
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills
Experience with companies like VMware or Red Hat is a plus
Contribution to open-source projects is highly valued
Additional Notes:
Must work onsite 3 days a week in Jersey City, NJ
Strong collaboration with hardware, software, and security teams required
Involvement in architectural reviews and open-source community collaboration
