This role will drive the specialty plastic resins business growth within the food-beverage market, cosmetic market, medical/pharma market, appliance, and other engineering applications. This role will be working in the matrix organization and leading the product line roadmap development and global new business development. Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in new business development, new product development, strategic planning, and a proven track record of innovation and driving new business sales. 10 years plus in the polymer industry across product line management, business development, field sales, application development, R&D, or business management, including 3+ years in plastic resins, HDPE, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, LLDPE, LDPE, thermoplastics, PET or copolyester experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills must be able to influence and build meaningful global partnerships across multiple levels within the company and locations without direct authority.
  • Self-driving with entrepreneur spirit, adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment, with a passion to drive positive change.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong blend of business and technology acumen.
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong Data Analysis Skills in the use of Microsoft Excel or BI type software.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 – 50%.
