Are you a hard-working and diligent individual Account Executive sales professional looking to have a direct impact on company sales goals?

My client is an eLearning company who provides training to major government agencies, like the Navy, Army, Air Force, MTA, NY NJ Port Authority, etc. They believe employees should exercise as much creativity as possible... and they want you to make a difference in their company!

The goal of this role is to own the full sales cycle of prospecting, selling and closing new business through email and phone communication. This is a great opportunity for sales professionals who are “hunters”, passionate about cultivating relationships with prospective and current clients to catalyze business development success. This individual will also work with the sales and marketing team to discover new leads and scheduling meetings with prospects to understand their needs to provide training solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Source and prospect new business
  • Close new business
  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound outreach
  • Strategize with marketing to discover new opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills
  • Be ready to communicate with anyone at any time (phone or email)
  • Actively listen to prospects and understand their goals and needs
  • Develop long-term relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of B2B direct outside sales/account management experience
  • Strong knowledge of sales tactics and strategies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sales Databases (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.,) and basic computer technology
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Compensation

  • Base $65,000-$70,000 and OTE (on target earnings) $85-$105,000+ year one
  • Supplement pay includes bonus pay, commission, and yearly bonus
  • Competitive benefits include health care, 401k, profit-sharing, and PTO, and paid training
  • Room for advancement
