Senior Finance Associate
The client is a private equity backed C&I developer led by a leadership team who's collectively developed 10GW of projects. They have a robust pipeline of operational projects with more projects coming online.
They're seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Associate/Senior Associate to join their Strategy and Finance team. This role primarily focuses on the analysis and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions, including debt and tax equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses, conduct due diligence, and create presentations to support investment decisions.
- Provide analytical and execution support for M&A, debt, and tax equity transactions, collaborating with project and business development teams on structural and technical aspects.
- Assist in managing relationships with external partners, such as debt and tax equity providers.
- Help prepare investment memoranda for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, emerging markets, technologies, and relevant federal and state policies.
- Stay agile and adapt to changes in both the company and the evolving renewable energy sector.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience executing renewables project finance/M&A transactoins
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field of study
- Strong financial modelling skills
