Position Summary
- Develop, maintain, and grow sales territory consisting of established and new customers in Eastern Virginia, West Virginia, and parts of Northern North Carolina for Sealed Air Corporation’s Cryovac brand packaging and equipment.
- Grow sales in the established territory according to yearly AOP.
- Prospect for opportunities in existing and new accounts to drive sales growth.
- Build a robust account strategy and provide a rolling business forecast.
- Manage T&E expenses according to the annual budget.
- Identify, execute, and quantify value actions for key accounts.
- Coordinate efforts of the sales support team for the territory, including Technical Service, Product and Market Specialists, Customer Service, Marketing, Inside Sales support, Credit, and AR.
- Enter and utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (C4C) to drive collaboration and sales, and profitability growth
- Owner mentality
- Deliver sales goals by growing territory year-over-year.
- Grow territory with existing and new accounts
- Delight customers by understanding customers’ needs and delivering value add total solution for the customer.
- Understand value propositions to best meet customer requirements
- Authenticity…your customer will buy from people they trust.
- Follow up on all sales leads through completion
- Proficient in CRM…leads, opportunities, forecasting, account planning, etc.
- Responsible for the management of Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in the CRM tool
- BA/BS Degree; MBA or MS a plus
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales
- 3+ years of MS Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel 40%
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to sell value-added products and services
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High level of integrity
- Must be a self-starter
- A positive and energetic attitude
