We are seeking a seasoned Site HR/LR Director to lead human resources and labor relations efforts at facility. The role involves strategic oversight of HR processes, active union engagement, talent development, and performance management. The selected candidate will supervise one direct report and play a key role in shaping site culture and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a safety ambassador and HR strategic consultant within the plant
Administer local labor agreements; negotiate and manage union relations (UAW and IBEW)
Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement
Provide guidance on personnel issues, benefits, policies, and compliance
Conduct training sessions and implement diversity, inclusion, and ethics programs
Use data analytics to inform HR strategy and drive business results
Represent in legal matters and ensure adherence to labor law and company policy
Lead recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions
Support compensation planning and performance review processes
Build community partnerships and represent the site internally and externally
