Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Legal Analyst for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!
Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, No c2c,
Job Title: Legal Analyst
Role Type: W2 only
Duration: 12 months
Location: Shoreview, MN
Schedule: Onsite
2-3 months training Online training and group training.
Key skills and level of experience:
- JD or Lawyer experience
- Contract review experience
- We used to use Relativity and have moved to a custom-built version of DocuSign.
- MS Office Suite
- ADA experience is a plus
- Commercial banking could be helpful, but not necessary
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal)
- Capacity to receive feedback in a constructive manner
Summary:
- Project Focus: Supporting ongoing work with Qualified Financial Contracts (QFCs).
- Scope: Involves several lines of business (LOBs); work is being transitioned from another team (without transferring resources).
- Purpose of Role: New hires needed to manage additional workload.
- AI Integration: AI models extract terms from contracts (3 to 200 pages); the role involves reviewing and validating those terms.
- Legal Background Needed:
- Ideal for someone with legal experience aligned with RTM (Review Task Model).
- Suitable for law grads not interested in traditional legal practice (e.g., court/law firm work).
- Ideal Candidate: Interested in contracts and collaborative, non-political work environments.
- Team Environment:
- Supportive and collaborative (e.g., group lunches, team Q&A).
- Training period typically lasts a few months.
- Additional Work: May involve cross-training for ADA compliance reviews (e.g., MS Office accessibility).
