Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a background in the Railroad/Transit industry and a proven track record leading large-scale Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) projects. This role is critical to the success of our Subways EAM Program and requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional to coordinate with stakeholders, manage project documentation, and ensure successful execution and delivery of project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and document stakeholder needs; lead and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions.
- Coordinate and lead meetings focused on business process review and improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and track accurate project schedules.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce and maintain key project documents, including:
- Scope and schedules
- Functional requirements
- As-Is and To-Be process flows
- Project status updates
- Executive summaries
- Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Ensure alignment with EAM program standards and deliverables.
Deliverables May Include:
- Comprehensive project management documentation
- Technical specifications and system design/configuration documentation
- EAM system configuration and administrative materials
- Training materials and user documentation for system rollouts
Required Qualifications:
- 3 5 years of experience managing large-scale EAM projects, preferably within transit/railroad sectors.
- Hands-on experience implementing Hexagon EAM.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- 2 3 years of direct work experience within the Railroad or Transit industry (preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced project management capabilities, with experience facilitating cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Microsoft Visio for process flow diagrams.
