Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Office-Based Project Manager with a strong background in electrical commercial construction to join our California-based team. In this role, you’ll manage multiple projects from the office, coordinating with field teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with California electrical codes, safety standards, and labor regulations (including Title 24 and CAL/OSHA).
  • Conduct internal project reviews and prepare client-facing progress reports and updates.
  • Work closely with estimators and the preconstruction team during bid handoff and project startup.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to manage vendor relationships, subcontractor agreements, and procurement timelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical scopes in commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with California building codes, Title 24 energy compliance, and CAL/OSHA standards.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation habits.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment with remote field coordination.
  • PMP certification or similar a plus.
Preferred Project Experience:
  • Office buildings, healthcare, higher education, tenant improvements, or public works.
  • Projects ranging from $500K to $10M in electrical scope.
