Position Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, senior executive to lead our global engineering organization. The Senior Vice President of Engineering will oversee a multidisciplinary team of 27 engineers, and 400 partner engineers driving excellence across plastics and injection molding, HMI interface solutions (touch screens, membrane switches, capacitive touch), value-added distribution, components, metals, Microwave RF solutions, and integrated design. This leader will be responsible for building a strong technology roadmap, engaging with internal teams and customers, and shaping strategic direction alongside the C-suite.

This position is US-based, with 50% travel to U.S. and Asia. Ideal candidate will be located in Southern California, Mt. Laurel NJ, Wausau WI, or Phoenix AZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a global engineering team with expertise across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Drive innovation and problem-solving to address complex customer challenges.
  • Develop and articulate a long-term technology roadmap for internal development and customer alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain to support business growth.
  • Maintain strong external relationships with key customers and strategic suppliers.
  • Oversee engineering input into pricing, quoting, and margin strategy for new business opportunities.
  • Manage design and pricing changes with a clear understanding of their commercial impact.
  • Ensure robust engineering support for product integration and full solution delivery.
  • Represent engineering leadership in strategic planning and executive decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, ideally in a global manufacturing or engineered solutions company.
  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering results in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.
  • Deep technical knowledge across several of the following: plastics, HMI, touch technologies, precision components, and integrated product design.
  • Experience working with or reporting to a C-suite executive team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally (primarily Asia).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience in value-added distribution or contract manufacturing.
  • Background in industries such as Medical Devices, Aerospace, Defense, or RF/Microwave a plus.
  • High capacity to understand the HMI solutions business
  • Progressive outside of the box thinker with a vision for advancing designs for clients
  • Have a key book of relationships to help differentiate

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range: $225,000 - $250,000 (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data). Compensation includes 40% bonus opportunity based on performance for the organization.
