  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are committed to helping our international teams grow and communicate effectively and are looking for an experienced English Language Instructor to provide remote English lessons to our employees. The goal is to help improve their English communication skills for use in professional settings such as team collaboration and interviews. Lessons will be offered either individually or in small groups (2–3 participants), with each student/group receiving approximately 2-3 hours of instruction per week.

Tasks:

  • Conduct remote English lessons for individuals and small groups
  • Tailor instruction to meet learners’ goals and current B1/B2 proficiency levels
  • Develop a structured teaching plan and track progress
  • Use English File, 4th Edition as the primary teaching resource
  • Be available to teach during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching English to adults
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to design and follow a methodical teaching approach
  • Comfortable teaching online using digital tools

Compensation:

$30/hour for individual lessons

$50/hour for small group lessons

Estimated number of students: 2-3 groups, 1-3 individuals with a potential to grow
