Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leader in the health insurance industry. Our client is seeking a Product Analyst to support a high-visibility initiative involving a platform transition. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare, agile transformation, and cross-functional collaboration who can quickly ramp up and drive progress during a critical phase of the project. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities.

Worksite Location: Eagan, MN | hybrid 2 days onsite

Compensation: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business departments and the delivery/vendor teams to gather, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Partner with Program Managers, Business Owners, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Own the development and documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, ensuring traceability from requirements through testing.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, validating that solutions meet initial requirements and business expectations.
  • Engage directly with vendors to ensure deliverables remain on track. Maintain momentum and accountability, recognizing limited visibility into downstream impacts.
  • Support the transition, focusing on requirement integrity and forward-thinking impact analysis.
  • Navigate a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment and contribute to the organization s ongoing product transformation efforts.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the implementation phase, with emphasis on ensuring completeness of requirements and a smooth handoff from analysis to delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Healthcare or managed care experience is a must.
  • Hands-on experience working with JIRA for user stories, backlog management, and sprint tracking.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, business process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience supporting Agile transformation is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially when working with external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute during early project phases (requirements) and stay engaged through implementation and testing.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.
