The Business Production Analyst will be the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business, ensuring high level designs including architecture requirements are accurate.
Business Production Analyst Responsibilities:
- Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to facilitate, define and document relevant business processes, gaining an understanding of the needs, measures, and risks & controls for the improvement area.
- Lead, collaborate with, and motivate a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with program and/or product roadmaps.
- Review, and when appropriate, accept and prioritize feedback and new requirements from stakeholders.
- Review and accept or decline output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
- Ensure development and QA teams understand requirements prior to development.
- Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
- Assist with project level plans related to schedule, scope and resources.
- Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint demo.
Business Production Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ healthcare experience with providers and/or payers for claims and payment processing.
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Working knowledge and experience with SQL databases required. Experience with Crystal Reports preferred.
