What You’ll Be Doing
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights, trends, and patterns that inform operational and strategic business decisions
- Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs and business performance
- Training & Enablement: Train and support “super users” across departments (Customer Service, Shipping, Accounting, IT, etc.) on BI tools and self-service analytics
- Collaboration: Act as a data liaison across the organization—partnering with stakeholders to understand their needs, answer questions, and deliver reports tailored to their business goals
- Data Stewardship: Uphold data accuracy and consistency, working within our BUCS data warehouse environment to ensure reliable and repeatable reporting practices
- Innovation & Optimization: Recommend enhancements to reporting capabilities and business processes using the latest features in Power BI and other analytics tools
- Leadership Exposure: Regularly interact with senior leadership, providing insights that drive company-wide decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
- 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role
- Proficiency in Power BI is required, with strong knowledge of Excel and other data visualization or analytics tools
- Experience with SQL and/or DAX preferred
- Strong communicator who can explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and an eagerness to learn the business inside and out
- Previous experience training or supporting internal users in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
