Group Details

As a Business Analyst within the Process and Operations team at Tradeweb, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and strategic decision-making through your day-to-day responsibilities. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gather and analyze requirements, conduct data analysis, set up complex processes, and document business processes and workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Confluence, JIRA, etc. Your proficiency in both data and financial analysis will be instrumental in developing templates for scoping documents, requirement gathering, and use cases, ensuring consistency and efficiency in project execution. Additionally, you will contribute to timeline creation, road mapping efforts and sometimes actual delivery of data, providing valuable insights to support project planning and execution. Reporting to the Head of Process and Operations, you will serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving continuous improvement efforts and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Through your strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement, you will facilitate effective collaboration and drive project success, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data management and governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Document business processes and workflows, utilizing tools such as Lucid or PowerPoint, to create clear and concise visual representations that facilitate understanding and collaboration across teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, leveraging both financial and data proficiency, to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Create various reports from data using a combination of SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel, etc. that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain templates for scoping documents, requirement gathering, and use cases, ensuring consistency and efficiency in project execution and delivery.
  • Stand up robust and scalable processes for data, taking a product roadmap approach to data management and governance
  • Assist in timeline creation and road mapping for data projects, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support project planning and execution.
  • Serve as a strong communicator, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, to facilitate effective collaboration and ensure project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts within the data management and governance function, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data management and governance requirements are integrated into business processes and systems, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in requirement gathering, data analysis, and documentation, preferably within a financial or data-intensive environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Previous experience with JIRA and Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools, is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Tableau data visualization software is required with 1+ years working experience building Tableau dashboards
  • Hands-on experience with SQL in a professional setting is required
  • Python knowledge is a plus
