Job Title: Project Manager

Office location: Hayward, California, ( Onsite )

Duration: Fulltime

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include

Review final quotes, project cost estimates, customer purchase orders, performance guarantees.

Identify commercial and technical issues. Work with sales teams to negotiate with customers.

Establish and drive project schedule, using SAP and Microsoft Project.

Procure specialized machinery and controls from vendors. Negotiate pricing. Issue purchase requisitions in SAP. Follow up with vendors on schedules and drawings.

Follow equipment through mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, check-out, pre-shipment testing and shipping to see customer specifications are met.

Provide project updates at weekly orders-in-progress (OIP) meetings.

Monitor project costs. Schedule and conduct project close-out meetings to identify discrepancies between planned and actual costs.

Interface with customer and field service to maintain project punch list . Arrange for visits to customer s site to address warranty issues and time of installation.

Project Manager Required Education and Experience

B.S. in mechanical or industrial engineering.

At least five (5) years of experience in the food industry.

Microsoft Office including Excel, MS Project, SAP, CRM, AutoCAD viewer.

Understand assembly drawings, system layout drawings, electrical drawings.

Available to travel up to 20-25%.
