Position Overview:
The Project Manager, PM, manages and executes the strategic project delivery and process improvement capabilities roadmap for MN8. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaboration with key stakeholders in all company areas to drive commercial outcomes and manage operational risk for a growing, entrepreneurial business. Accountable to the Director, EPMO, you will drive project-focused execution and process improvement workstreams in support of enterprise-wide strategic projects and processes so MN8 can achieve its business objectives.

As the Project Manager, you will:
Manage key project(s) and accountabilities within the boundaries set by stakeholders, business requirements, and external influences.
- Assured implementation of system installations, expansions, modifications, migrations, and business processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams so that they can manage and optimize time, resources, skills, and budgets to accomplish all interrelated tasks.
- Execute the plans to identify the most efficient, effective, or economical approach to deliver projects and programs.
- Actively manage risks and anticipate issues to ensure timely resolution and overall success of the projects.
- Perform risk analysis within each project to identify risk sensitivities that impact the project’s cost, schedule, and quality, strategically utilize the resources, and provide contingency plans.
- Prioritize multiple pipeline projects, align with a plan strategy, and allocate resources.
- Promote and oversee project relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate effective partnership and collaboration throughout the organization.
- Support the execution of change management plans, including process and organizational changes, training requirements, and stakeholder buy-in as project objectives and deliverables dictate.
- Communicate to ensure a timely and effective exchange of information between Third-party Service Providers, project teams, stakeholders, and management.
- Assure project budgets and financials, including external resources and commitments, are met.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset and tools, including Lean Six Sigma, to strategic projects and processes to drive business results.
- Proactively conduct Lessons Learned reviews on project/ program/ process performance and deliver on the agreed-upon improvement output and recommendations
- Support business integration efforts, including M&A, as they arise.
- PMI certified, AGILE-Scrum Master, LSSGB (BB preferred) certifications are required.
- University degree, ideally focusing on Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, are preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in project management; leading multiple, complex projects; ideally with implementation of companywide systems and platforms, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle highly desired, Work Management Systems (EMS), and others.
- Outstanding managerial and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build a rapport and trust with team members, stakeholders, and executives.
- Highly collaborative leader, able to create a highly engaged team dynamic, negotiate trade-offs, and resolve conflicts.
- Resourceful problem-solver, able to proactively anticipate issues and obstacles, experienced in applying change management.
- An analytical, detail-oriented leader, experienced in working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptable and flexible planner, able to adjust the workload and schedules with changing environment and priorities to maintain project momentum towards the end goal.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to nontechnical audiences.
- Good overall knowledge of programming concepts, software development cycles, and associated tools and platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of program and project plan development, scheduling methodology, waterfall and agile methodologies, program and project metrics, analysis, and status reporting.
- Experience with Jira, MS Project, and Power BI is required; Power Automate and Minitab are preferred.
- Renewable energy experience is preferred, and comfortable in a startup environment.
- Experience with M&A integration is a plus.
