National Sales Manager
Kerusso is seeking a qualified individual to enhance the company's Sales efforts and support our overall Mission.
The National Sales Manager role at Kerusso is a strategic leadership position that is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within faith-based and general market independent retail channels, reporting to the VP of Sales. This individual will lead and mentor a team of internal sales representatives, while also managing and collaborating with external independent sales rep groups. Leveraging data-driven insights and a deep understanding of market trends, the National Sales Manager will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, optimize sales processes, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a proven ability to adapt to evolving market dynamics and utilize technology to enhance sales performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Sales Planning:
o Formulate sales plans by incorporating market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
o Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and evolving consumer trends, anticipating future market shifts.
o Utilize data analytics to evaluate sales performance, identify areas of improvement, and refine strategies.
o Forecast sales, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management.
Sales Team Management & Development:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of internal sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture, focused on achieving sales targets.
o Manage and collaborate with external independent sales rep groups, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
o Develop and deliver effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of both internal and external sales teams.
o Optimize sales processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Relationship Management & Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new opportunities; expanding the company's market reach and customer base.
o Represent the company at events and trade shows, promoting brand awareness and generating leads.
o Maintain a deep understanding of customer preferences, providing exceptional customer service.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence:
o Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
o Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and generate sales reports.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
o Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, incorporating them into sales strategies and operations.
o Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide actionable insights.

· Extensive experience managing both internal and external sales teams.
· Experience working with faith-based retail or similar markets is a plus.
· Ability to travel 25% or more.
