Role Description
This is a part-time contractual remote role for a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and providing support for community health needs assessments and program evaluations. Daily tasks include:
• Conduct literature reviews to support projects.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from city governments, national surveys, longitudinal studies, etc.
• Develop asset maps.
• Synthesize findings that detail major findings from the data analysis process and contribute to recommendations for future work.
• Maintain project databases throughout the research process
Effective communication and collaboration with team members will be essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis proficiency
- Excellent Communication and Research skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with research methodologies and tools
- Graduate degree in a related field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Nursing, or Social Sciences
- Familiarity with statistical software and data management systems is a plus
- Experience with data visualization
