Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our RDNC team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a designated territory, focusing exclusively on client acquisition and relationship management within the healthcare industry. You will work closely with our inside sales and account management teams to build strategic partnerships and expand our footprint with organizations seeking Registered Dietitian services. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities
Sales Quota Achievement
- Manage the full sales process with support from our inside sales team, including lead follow-up, qualification, client meetings, presentations, and closing.
- Achieve or exceed territory sales quotas through new client acquisition and account expansion.
- Maintain a well-organized pipeline using our CRM, tracking all relevant sales activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies.
New Account Development
- Engage healthcare clients such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient centers requiring Registered Dietitian services.
- Leverage inside sales and marketing support to educate prospects on RDNC’s service offerings.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless post-sale transition.
Existing Account Expansion
- Partner with account managers to identify upsell opportunities and foster long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with healthcare leaders to explore and meet evolving service needs.
Sales and Marketing Collaboration
- Work with marketing on outreach campaigns, digital initiatives, and conference participation.
- Leverage social media and other digital platforms to enhance prospect engagement and drive sales growth.
- Contribute to forecasting and pipeline reporting to support strategic planning.
Territory & Market Management
- Develop and implement growth plans through goal setting, market research, and targeted prospecting.
- Monitor market and competitor trends to refine outreach and positioning strategies.
- Remain accountable for individual sales metrics aligned with company growth objectives.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Nutrition, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or client engagement, preferably in healthcare or staffing.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and strategic in managing client relationships.
- Collaborative team player with a strong drive for success.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel for national and state conferences, client meetings, and promotional events.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Licenses & Authorization
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule
Full-time Remote, Standard Schedule, Salary Exempt
Compensation
$60,000 - $130,000+ per year (Base salary + a competitive, uncapped monthly commission structure.)
