Role: Behavioral Psychologist
Location: NY/NJ (Local candidates only)
Work Type: Onsite, Part-time (80 hours/month, 20 28 hours/week)
We are currently seeking a candidate who holds degrees in both Psychology and Law. This individual will be responsible for managing regulatory matters, and it is essential that they possess expertise in both fields to effectively fulfill the role.
Responsibilities
- Focus on Observable Behavior:
Review CCTV video recordings from one of the largest public transportation authorities, evaluate passengers on observable behaviors and actions, rather than internal thoughts or feelings, and capture their observations pertaining to mob or crowd formation behavior and/or anomalous behavior of physical, and mental, and social well-being that's compromised leading with the intent versus the motion of inflicting harm
- Importance of Environment:
Emphasize and evaluate the role of environmental factors and stimuli in the CCTV video recordings from transportation authorities, shaping behavior of passengers that's anomalous.
- Empirical Evidence:
Review CCTV video recordings, empirical evidence and scientific research to support observations and findings.
- Collaboration with Teams:
Collaborate with Behavior Psychologists, Technology Teams, and Transportation Authority, defining, evaluating, and decisioning anomalous behavior that has the intent versus the motion of inflicting harm
- Credentials:
License to work as a psychologist awarded by the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards), upon passing all portions of the EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology
Job Qualifications:
Education
- Required: Master's Degree; M.A. or M.S.
- Preferred: Psy.D. Doctor of Psychology
- Current licensure in New York / Illinois State and/or other
