Position: QA with BSA experience (Hybrid)
Location: Portland, OR || Need local
Duration: 6-12 months

Job Description

Traditional BSA experience is required, not an expert, mid-level experience as a BSA is required.

  • Develop and implement feature, integration, regression, and system tests for new software development.
  • Design and develop test automation scripts. (Good to have)
  • Review application specifications and user stories and create test scenario documentation.
  • Execute and document test results and defects
  • Deliver project quality in collaboration with the development team.
  • Report on project testing status.

Well versed with BSA software lifecycle and duties of BSA
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • 5+ years of experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing and regression testing.
  • Previous experience developing and executing test automation scripts and processes
  • Proficiency in the programming language(s) necessary to develop automated test scripts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies (Developing Automation is good to have not mandatory)
  • Prior success as a QA Analyst embedded with a product development team.
  • Experience testing web applications across multiple platforms and browsers.
  • Experience testing APIs.
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively but while possessing a strong individual work ethic.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an agile environment.

Basic knowledge of any programming language
Basic knowledge with Typescript or JavaScript. Typescript preferred.
Intermediate to expert level JIRA experience
Strong knowledge and experience with REST, SOAP and POSTMAN
Knowledge of HTML and internet technologies
Experience with user interface testing tools
Experience with eCommerce projects
