Remote role- WebMethods Consultant (SAP Integration)

Job Title: Remote WebMethods Consultant (SAP Integration) Location: Remote
Engagement Type: Part-Time / Contract
Project Duration: Ongoing (Approx. 50 60 hours per month)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced WebMethods Consultant with a strong background in SAP integration to support ongoing integration projects on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a remote role with a workload of approximately 50 60 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Software AG s WebMethods suite.
• Configure and manage integrations between WebMethods and SAP (including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP, business, IT) to understand integration requirements.
• Provide documentation, technical support, and ongoing maintenance for existing interfaces.
• Participate in periodic status meetings and provide input on improvements or enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with WebMethods Integration Suite (Designer, Integration Server, Trading Networks, MWS, etc.).
• Strong expertise in SAP integration (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, etc.).
• Solid understanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and web services.
• Experience with error handling, logging, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based integration scenarios (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of EDI standards and B2B integration.

• Duration: Long-term engagement
• Monthly Hours: 50 60 hours
• Schedule: Flexible, with availability for periodic meetings and support
