What will you do as a Family Support Worker?
- As a Family Support Worker in the Florida Case Management Organization (CMO) department, you will provide transportation of youth to/from out-of-home care placements, to/from school, and to/from visits. Family Support Workers also supervise parent visits.
- A typical day as a Family Support Worker will include managing crisis, de-escalating youth and adults, and driving. As a Family Support Worker, a large amount of time is spent face to face with high need teenagers transporting them. Work hours vary based on shift and client demand, an on-call schedule for weekends is required.
- Starting Pay Rate: $18 hourly

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required; A.A. preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience (human services or childcare experience preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have reliable vehicle/transportation
- A valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Must meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the department
- All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
