Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership to field crews across various project sites
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and meet project milestones.
  • Conduct site walks for quality control, safety compliance, and production tracking.
  • Mentor foremen, operators, and laborers; drive a positive and professional site culture.
  • Submit accurate daily reports, timesheets, and progress documentation.
  • Support PMs with scheduling updates, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Attend internal meetings and job walks with clients, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Learn and assist with budget tracking, change orders, and job costing.
  • Prepare documentation for RFIs, submittals, and project closeout procedures.
  • Relay accurate field updates to office staff and management in a timely manner
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on every job site

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil utility construction, including water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer systems
  • Proven experience supervising construction crews in a heavy civil environment
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, work in trenches, tight spaces, and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!
  • Proactive problem-solver with a high attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable using tech tools: field tablets, job tracking apps, remote meetings, and documentation software.
