Position: Project Management Specialist

Duration: 2 Months with possible extension

Location: Onsite - Tallahassee, FL

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

1. Knowledge of the ideologies, techniques, and tools for quality assurance and control, and the ability to put those into practice.
2. Knowledge of transportation technology operations.
3. Expertise in project management, process management and business systems requirements definition.
4. Ability to produce legible and complete functional documentation in a way that thoroughly captures business processes and inputs/outputs of the applications.
5. Ability to analyze and accurately and completely define processes and workflows to design efficient information solutions, including missing or duplicate functionality in existing applications.
6. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower-level team members.
7. Advanced skills with Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
8. Knowledge of project management practices and agile methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a financial-related field and five years professional work experience. Work experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the degree. Special consideration will be given to candidates with Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification or similar agile/project management certifications.

Experience:

Candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in business process reengineering and documentation. This experience must also be in a professional environment in public sector technology organizations. Candidate will be expected to describe multiple past experiences with business process tools and how they were deployed for a successful outcome.
